Package £26-28k Plus High Uncapped OTE (50-60K)

Location – London - Hybrid working after three months probation

 

Client:

A highly reputable global Events Company is seeking an experienced  Delegate Sales Executive.

Job Summary:

The Delegate Sales Executive is a dynamic and results-driven professional responsible for promoting and selling the company's delegate passes to prospective C-level clients. This role requires a keen understanding of the sales process, a consultative approach to selling, and a focus on achieving sales targets.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients, industries, and market segments.

Utilise various lead generation tools and platforms to create a robust pipeline of potential clients.

Engage in proactive outreach through phone calls, emails, networking events, and industry conferences.

Qualify leads to ensure they align with the ideal client profile.

 

Sales Presentations and Consultative Selling:

Develop in-depth product or service knowledge to deliver persuasive and customised sales presentations.

Listen actively to client needs and concerns, offering tailored solutions.

Create compelling proposals, demonstrations, and pitches to articulate the value proposition effectively.

Handle objections professionally and provide information to alleviate client doubts.

Negotiation and Closing:

 

Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules with clients: secure signed agreements, purchase orders, or other commitment forms.

Collaborate with legal and finance departments to ensure seamless contract execution.

Sales Target Achievement:

 

Establish and track sales targets, regularly reporting progress to the sales manager or team.

Develop and maintain a sales plan with strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

Continuously assess performance and adapt sales strategies as necessary.

Customer Relationship Management:

 

Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Act as clients' primary point of contact and address their needs and concerns.

Provide ongoing support, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

 

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

Use market intelligence to identify opportunities for business growth and refine sales strategies.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

 

Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop comprehensive sales strategies and plans.

Implement and adapt sales tactics as needed to achieve targets.

Regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as necessary.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

A proven track record of success in a B2B or delegate sales Executive role, with at least 1.5  years of experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.

 

Working Conditions:

This role may require regular travel to attend industry events and conferences.

The delegate sales executive should be prepared for flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones and client availability.
